You may recall and endless number of PR Maven's hailed as "The Hottest in PR" by Mediabistro over the last few years (including yours truly). And they all call Hisaoka Public Relations and Flash Communications home.

Word on the street has it that this week they
signed a definitive merger agreement that will combine both companies to create a full service public relations and marketing company. Honoring Hisaoka Public Relations’ founder, the late Joan Hisaoka, the combined companies will be called Hisaoka Communications.

Hisaoka Communications will be a dynamic force in offering clients creative and productive results oriented public relations and marketing with a strong flair for fostering major local and national media relationships and coverage, promotional hooks and strategic branding, “ says company President Wendy J. Gordon. “We look forward to carrying on the Hisaoka name and legacy as a tribute to our friend and colleague.”

The merger is effective immediately. Hisaoka Communications will operate out of the address at which both companies are currently headquartered at 2000 P Street, NW in Dupont Circle.

Congrats to both teams.
