With a gallon of gas at over $4 a gallon and prices rising everywhere, it’s time the public got a bargain—after all, there are so few left. At Dupont Circle, there is relief for the inflation-weary.

From 5-7 p.m. every weekday, five days a week, dupontgrille comes to the rescue with Five for Five—a selection of Martinis, red and white wines by the glass and Chef Dylyn Coolidge’s snacks at a mere $5 each. Guests cocktail choices include The Grille, Cosmopolitan, peach, apple or watermelon Martini; BV Cabernet, Chardonnay or Coastal Merlot, and munchies such as coconut and curry mussels, buffalo sliders, mini chili- cheese dogs, flatbread barbequed duck pizza and sautéed jumbo shrimp with spicy sriracha-lobster sauce. Drinks and snacks can be enjoyed inside the contemporary restaurant or on the restaurant’s patio—just perfect for to enjoy a little fresh air, convivial conversation and perhaps a little people-watching.

dupontgrille is located at 1500 New Hampshire Avenue, NW (19th St. NW) and serves lunch Monday – Friday from 11:30am - 2:30pm; Saturday 11:30am - 5:00pm; dinner: Monday - Thursday: 5pm - 10:30pm; Friday and Saturday: 5-11 pm; and Sunday 5-10 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday Brunch from 11:30am - 2:30pm.
