The Nobis - Performance and Listening Party this Friday at Studio Braat, presented by The Dunes

This Friday the Dunes and Studio Braat will host a listening session and concert by The Nobis. This “Paper Pop Post Punk” duo (MP and Emmy) survived the devastating earthquakes in their native Japan and headed stateside with the simple goal of playing music and sharing their passion and hope with as many people as possible.

Launched in 2006, The Nobis built their cult music style during monthly all-night ravers, touring with Fashion Brand parties in Paris and Tokyo and hosting resident installations at Tokyo’s hottest night clubs. Friday’s nights session, presented by The Dunes and Studio Braat in Adam’s Morgan, will treat music goers to the deepest cuts ranging from nu-disco, new age and future-retro funk. Located at 1711 Florida Avenue in the heart of Adams Morgan, Studio Braat is home to Braat Musik, LLC (the area's largest Independent Record Label distributed by WEA/Warner Music Group). Proceeds from the event will benefit the Red Cross Japan relief efforts.
The Dunes LLC is a DC-based creative marketing collective that re-images and re-invigorates the brands of artists and for-profit and non-profit organizations in collaboration with creative talent from all media. The collective integrates and presents a re-energized ethos for each cient with creative content, typically in an exhibit-driven format. The Nobis – Performance and Listening Party
