BLUEBRAIN and the Pink Line Project present "White Out" this Thursday

Remember Snowmageddon, or Snowpocalypse, or Snowmygod? Kinda hard to recall when the temperatures are regualrly soaring into the 100s and sweat drips off the tip of your nose even when you're standing in the shade. You'll be yearning for the heat come January though. So enjoy the last bit of summer on Thursday, August 26, at Phillips After 5 when Pink Line Project brings you the end of summer "White Party"!

Before the party, we're working with BLUEBRAIN to present "White Out," where you tell us your tales of Snowpocalypse and your stories become part of a video project that we'll debut during the White Party.

Call us at 202-464-2260 or email us at whiteoutdc@gmail.com with your Snowpocalypse story!

The White Party is inspired by two special exhibitions currently on view at The Phillips Collection: "Robert Ryman: Variations and Improvisations" and "Pousette-Dart: Predominantly White Paintings."

We'll also be featuring:

  • Interactive artworks by Kenny George and Alberto Gaitán.
  • Dance by Glade Dance Collective.
  • Caribbean cuisine by FoodArts.
  • Caribbean games.

Oh, and wear your whites!

Phillips Collection, 1600 21st Street, NW. 6 to 8:30 PM.
