The Junior League of Washington Presents the Georgetown Downtown ShopAround this Weekend through May 5th

Each year the Junior League of Washington hosts the Georgetown Downtown ShopAround—a week long, discount shopping event that benefits JLW’s community programs, grants, scholarships, and efforts to improve literacy in the DC area. Discount savings cards are on sale now through the JLW’s website HERE.

The Junior League of Washington is an organization of diverse women with shared values who are committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. The JLW strives to be a vibrant presence in the lives of the women and children in the greater metropolitan area of the District of Columbia, serving as a resource throughout the community to effect positive change, seek common ground, and inspire hope.

Purchase your Downtown Shop Around card and receive a 20% discount at our some of your favorite retailers. 100% of the proceeds from card sales support the Junior League of Washington’s community programs.

Downtown ShopAround begins Saturday, April 25 and lasts through Sunday, May 5. Shoppers who use their card at one of our more than 30 participating Georgetown retailers will receive 20% off their entire purchase for the week. Retailers include Sherman Pickey, National Jean Company, J. McLaughlin, Red Door Spas, Urban Chic, and Sugar!
