When Harlem Came to Paris this Saturday

One of my dear girlfriends, Dorothy Tene Redmond (the cute one above with the great dimples), will take stage on Saturday in When Harlem Came to Paris. Tickets are on sale HERE.

Set with a fictitious back story, WHCTP celebrates the artistry associated with the Harlem Renaissance. Mamie Mason hosts a variety of literary and musical artists for their last night in Paris. Completely unscripted, portrayals of Marita Bonner, Wallace Thurman, R. Bruce Nugent, Bessie Smith, Claude McKay, Count Bassie and Josephine Baker are a main focus of the night including live music and performances, foods and cocktails sponsored by Crown Royal.
