DC International Charity Spotlight: International Center for Journalists

Last night, Christiane Amanpour spoke at the International Center for Journalists' Awards Dinner held in the Ronald Regan Building. With more 400 of the top journalists from across the country in attendance, Christiane spoke of the international reaction of the U.S. Elections, saying that the reactions were similar to when the Berlin Wall came down or the fall of Communism.

The International Center for Journalists, a non-profit, professional organization, promotes quality journalism worldwide in the belief that independent, vigorous media are crucial in improving the human condition. Consider today donating to the ICFJ, The Challenge Fund for Journalism. If you do, they will match your donation! Your generosity enables them to provide valuable programs for journalists around the world. Learn more HERE.

George Stephanopoulos served as the MC for the evening. Below he is photographed having a question and answer with Christiane after her keynote
