AFI European Union Film Showcase begins Thursday in Silver Spring

The annual EU Film Showcase from November 6 through November 25 is another great international event to enjoy in the DC area. Held in the wonderful AFI Silver Theatre (rated 5 stars by Yelpers!), this is your chance to enjoy 35 films from 27 Countries, including festival award winners from Cannes, Berlin and Venice. The entire list is below. Many are shown twice. When did you last see an Estonian or Portugese movie? This is a wonderful opportunity to see a great variety of movies you'll never see at the local multiplex.
