Six local nonprofit organizations will participate in the 2008 Washington, DC area Bloomingdale's Shopping Benefit: American Red Cross of the National Capital Area, Family Support Center, Junior League of Washington, Montgomery County Humane Society, Society for Women's Health Research, Washington Humane Society. Throughout the day-long event, the participating charities will raise funds to support their programs while educating the general public about their services. Shoppers will enjoy 15% savings throughout the store (some exclusions apply) along with family-centered entertainment. $10. 10:00am-10:00pm.
You Shop...Others Gain! The Shopping Benefit features storewide entertainment throughout the day, including fashion presentations, live music, special performances, children's activities, chef demonstrations, makeup artist events, gifts, sweepstakes and much more! One hundred percent of the ticket sales will be split amongst the participating charities in addition to a donation from Bloomingdale's to each organization.
