National Museum of Women In The Arts hosts Wine is Art - Celebrating the Winemaker and the Collector this Thursday

This event will feature a wine tasting, reception, and silent auction in celebration of the 2008 National Women's Wine Competition, held in California earlier this year. The competition has created the first "woman to woman" roadmap of the wine industry, providing a unique event judged entirely by women.

Twenty-five Gold Medal wines will be available for tasting, paired with the delicious hors d'oeuvres and artisan cheeses provided by Chef Ris Lacoste and Well Dunn catering. The honoree of the evening, Mrs. Margrit Mondavi, will be in attendance along with Mrs. Wilhelmina Holladay, the founder of National Museum of Women in the Arts. Thanks to The List Are You On It in my Everyday Reads for the skinny.

6:30 - 9:30pm.
$150 per person.
