A Literary Feast is just around the corner!

LitFeast Banner

A Literary Feast is Scheduled for October 25th, 2008 and You Are Invited!

Don't Miss the Capitol Hill Community Foundation's 4th annual A Literary Feast held this year in 31 private homes throughout the neighborhood. The book-themed dinners will be followed by dessert and dancing at St. Mark's Church--a wonderful opportunity to mix and mingle with old and new friends, all in support of an important cause.

Proceeds from this year's A Literary Feast will expand a successful arts program into two more Capitol Hill schools. This innovative multi-year program is already in operation at Brent, Peabody, Watkins and Stuart Hobson schools. With our support, the DC Arts and Humanities Education Collaborative will partner with the faculty of Tyler and Ludlow-Taylor elementary schools. The Collaborative supports schools in the use of art across the curriculum, using art to improve learning in traditional subject areas, as well as expanding students' access to arts and culture in our metropolitan area.

So tell your friends and mark your calendars now--tickets go fast! Visit the A Literary Feast website for full descriptions of the dinners and to download a ticket order form.
