Get your MIX ON. EatBar to offer cocktail classes by their famed mixologist.

Shake, strain and swizzle your way into the holidays by taking part in some unique and fun-loving cocktail classes, led by acclaimed mixologist Gina Chersevani at Arlington’s preeminent gastropub, EatBar. Chersevani, EatBar’s effervescent bar chef will teach participants how to use bar tools, concoct inventive cocktails and pair their creations with food. The classes will be offered in the lounge at EatBar on the following Wednesdays: October 15, October 29, November 12, December 3 and December 17 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The complete class schedule is listed below.

Priced at $48 per person per class, or $220 for all five classes, guests will enjoy sipping cocktails and nibbling paired snacks created by Executive Chef Andrew Markert, while simultaneously being schooled on the basics of crafting cool concoctions. At each class, Chersevani will provide her students with printed recipe cards for that night’s creations, as well as a jar of a house-made bar garnish to use at their own cocktail parties at home.

Chersevani and her creative cocktails have been lauded in several prominent publications, including the Wall Street Journal, Wine Enthusiast, The Tasting Panel, DC Magazine, The Washington Post and Washingtonian Magazine, among others. Winner of numerous awards including Absolut Vodka’s “Best Martini” competition in Washington, DC, Chersevani’s imaginative cocktails often include unusual ingredients and garnishes like spring porcini mushrooms, blue cheese and duck cracklings.
