On My Radar: Yabby Lake Vineyard Pinot Noir 2005

Yabby Lake Vineyard Chardonnay

At the DC International Food & Wine Festival earlier this month I had the most amazing Pinot Noir by Yabby Lake Vineyard. When you taste it think of plums, berries and lots of spice! I could not get enough. Yabby Lake Vineyard was established in 1998 on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, with the long-term goal of producing benchmark wines from the Burgundian varieties Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

Damon Ornowski, Master Sommelier and North American Wine Director, was on hand to give me the skinny on this stellar wine.

The Pinot Noir goes fro $60 a bottle and you can order online, but sadly it is SOLD OUT at the moment. That's because everyone in DC realized how amazing it was and they flooded their website!

I encourage you to reach out to your local wine store and ask them to carry this phenom wine! The store can then reach out to Damon at email-damon@yabbylake.com and he can work out the rest.

Prost!
