I am thrilled to invite you all to two events taking place in October that will raise funds for D.C. students to experience arts education opportunities in our city. I serve on the board for both organizations and have witnessed first hand the impact the arts have had on students served. I hope you DC This Week readers can join me for one or both! Cheers. Jade

Art Buzz Rooftop Soiree to Support the DC Collaborative: On October 22nd (NEW DATE), Cher Castillo Freeman and I will host an Art Buzz @ Sunset rooftop soiree at the Embassy Row Hotel (2015 Massachusetts Avenue)  from 6 to 9 p.m. Join us on the rooftop for as we drink for a great cause, munch on select appetizers and vie for raffled goodies from Rose's Luxury, Doi Moi and Ivy & Coney with a beautiful view of the DC skyline. This event supports the D.C.
