Join the Dunes for an a panel discussion and afterparty to support DC Public Schools and KaleidoLINKS.org . Venture capitalists and tech industry professionals will provide their
perspective on the labor market and corporate growth/innovation impact
of having a large pool of U.S. students that cannot compete in math and
the basic sciences.
KaleidoLINKS will be featured and panelists will explore their platform for
educating students in physics, math and basic engineering through the
build-out of production cars to nationally competitive race vehicles.
After the think tank, the evening will segue into a celebration of innovative education with DJ sets provided by One Love Massive, pop-up restaurants and artisan bars. Bombay Sapphire will be onsite serving an array of summer drinks
KaleidoLINKS student-built cars will be displayed in front of The Dunes to show the outcome of their efforts. They have recently returned home with a trophy earned from their participation in the 2012 Tire Rack One Lap of America. Their vehicles have also been showcased in the Chevy Display in the 2012 Washington Auto Show, produced by WANADA.
Proceeds from sponsor and donor funds, ticket sales, and bar sales will benefit KaleidoLINKS and District of Columbia Public Schools.
Tickets are $20 HERE.
