Tell D.C. What You Won't Stand For on February 28th

USA Network is bringing their Characters Unite anti-discrimination initiative to DC on Tuesday, February 28th with a special pop up experience in Farragut Square Park from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Willie Garson (WHITE COLLAR), Coby Bell (BURN NOTICE) and Timothy Omundson (PSYCH) will be on-hand to participate in the experience and discuss the initiative. The experience is based on USA's new PSA "I Won't Stand For........... Campaign.

The new “I Won’t Stand For…” movement is about sending a message to the world that no one should stand idly by in the face of racism, bullying, religious intolerance, sexism, homophobia, ableism, or any other form of discrimination.

The PSA features USA Network stars — Patrick J. Adams and Meghan Markle of SUITS, Christopher Gorham of COVERT AFFAIRS, Reshma Shetty of ROYAL PAINS, and Marsha Thomason of WHITE COLLAR &mdsah; and people from across the country, from all walks of life, literally sitting down wherever they are to express their commitment to stopping bigotry and prejudice.

On-site, people will be able to create their own custom “I Won’t Stand For…” t-shirts and select a stamp representing an issue about which they are passionate -- choices include discrimination, prejudice, religious intolerance, racism, homophobia, ableism, among others. After creating their personalized t-shirts, using a special photo kiosk, participants can take a photo to immediately upload to their social media sites.

Be sure to stop by!
