Bread & Brew Offers Craft Beer Dinner this Friday


One of my favorite spots in D.C., Bread & Brew, is offering up a craft beer dinner on Friday. This one-night only menu will be crafted by Bread & Brew chefs using the freshest local organic produce paired with Uinta Brewing Company's new line of organic beers: Monkshine Belgian Style Blonde Ale, Punk'n Pumpkin Ale, Baba Black Lager along with their classic Wyld Extra Pale Ale. The event begins at 7:30 p.m.

Menu:

First Course
Marinated Mixed-Beet Crostini
chiogga and golden beets with roasted-garlic almond butter, microgreens, and toasted coriander oil

Second Course
Butternut Squash Risotto
with chestnuts and toasted sage

Third Course
Pecan Crusted Seitan
with herb-roasted mashed parsnips, sauteed spicy-garlicky collard greens, and confetti gravy

Dessert
Organic Chocolate Ganache
with smoked sea salt & citrus
