Wednesday night check out the next edition of Art Crimes, curated by The Dunes at the Gibson.
The February installment will feature accomplished DC-based photographer Nicole Wolf, who will be presenting her series "Sea of Faces".
Sea of Faces” is Wolf's tribute to the people, most specifically the fisherman, of Grand Manan Island. The images tell a tale of a community that is ruled by the sea, the ebb and flow of the tides, and the harshness of an economy whose lifeline diminishes further each year. For four years she has photographed the fishermen of Grand Manan, men who are her family, her closest childhood friends, and the foundation of her heritage.
