The second issue of premier DC fashion publication Worn Magazine will be released at a 10 DJ blowout on October 19, 2010 at U Street Music Hall. Tickets are $10 HERE. This issue of Worn promises twice the volume of photography and exclusive stories about DC artists and entrepreneurs, including a 14 page pictorial spread on local DJs, fashion editorials featuring local designers De*Nada and Derringer Friday, interviews with ReVamp sartorial mavens Kristen Swenson and Erin Derge, and a special collaboration with the Washington Humane Society.
The U Street Music Hall issue release party will feature sets by Nouveau Riche, Sam “The Man” Burns, Jackie O, DJ Lil’ Elle, DJ Cassidy, Chris Burns, DJ RAD, DJ Smudge, DJ Keenan, Adrian Loving, and two surprise guests. There is a $10 cover with all proceeds going to support Worn Magazine. Tickets may be purchased at wornmagazine.com. Copies of the magazine will be available for purchase at the event. Worn Magazine is supported in part by a 2010 Young Artist Grant from the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities.
