The Gilt Groupe Obsession Continues with Parvez Taj Prints

Today, shopping on Gilt Groupe Home was a bit like Christmas. Famed designer and artist Parvez Taj had a sale on printed canvas pieces. For those of you who don't know of his work, Taj was born in Canada and his work with art and fashion brought him to NYC where he produced mix media art, fashion shows, and photo shoots for a time. Next he traveled to India for a year where he filmed a documentary for the charity group with whom he was living and working. Today, he lives in LA where he is pioneering ultra violet ink technologies as a fine art medium. You can check out his interview with CB2 HERE.

I scored a Flora 20108 print 32x24x4 on canvas for just $98 plus shipping (see above). The prints normally retail for $358 in that size, so you can imagine my joy. I finally have a piece of art to go above my bed.

Gilt Groupe, Gilt Man, and Gilt Home provide access, by invitation only, to Men’s, Women’s and Children’s coveted fashion and luxury brands at prices up to 70% off retail. Each sale lasts 36 hours and features hand selected styles from a single designer. Sign up today HERE.
