Nightlife to Nature Fundraiser this Friday

Nightlife to Nature, a non-profit created by Lydia L. Arshadi , will hold a fundraiser and silent auction on Friday, May 21^st, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. at FunXion located at 1309 F St. NW, Washington, D.C. The fundraiser will aid in sponsoring volunteer missions to protect endangered species in Costa Rica. Nightlife to Nature aims to raise $8,000 or more to continue its mission of community outreach, environmental protection, animal rehabilitation and aid entrepreneurs who wish to establish their own businesses in underdeveloped countries.

Comedian Tehran SoParvaz, Magician David Breth and Haitian percussionist Names Thompson will entertain the crowd in their talents. Additionally, icons like former-Redskin player, Gary Clark will be present to show his support. Hor’s d’oeuvres will be provided by the functional fit-food restaurant, FunXion, and a large silent auction will run for the first three hours of the event.
