RAMMY nominees for “Mixology/Beverage Program of the Year” are hosting a three-week-long cocktail promotion to promote their exclusive RAMMY cocktails and give consumers a chance to win two highly-coveted tickets to the RAMMY gala on June 6.

Nominated mixologists are stirring up Casablanca-themed cocktails to pay homage to this year’s RAMMY Gala theme “We’ll Always Have…Restaurants.” Celebrating the newly created first-year Mixology category, the themed cocktails were initially introduced at the RAMMY Nomination party in March and will now be served at the five nominee restaurants until June 3 when the winner will be chosen at random.

The five nominees for “Mixology/Beverage Program of the Year” are Brasserie Beck, EatGoodFood Group (Restaurant Eve, The Majestic, Eamonn's, A Dubliner Chipper/PX), Founding Farmers, PS7’s and Tabard Inn. The nominees will be offering customers the chance to try the following creative cocktails at their restaurants:

Damian Torguson at Brasserie Beck has created the Appertivo cocktail made with Tres Generaciones Tequila, Campari, sour mix, ginger ale, finished with a cinnamon and Hawaiian sea salt rim and an orange peel garnish. Guests can try the Appertivo at Brasserie Beck for $11.

Todd Thrasher, mixologist at PX is serving up a unique, seasonal take on “spiked” iced tea called the Grog – a refreshing cocktail made with Mount Gay Extra Old Rum, lemon verbena tea, fresh lemon juice and lemon bitters. Customers can sip the Grog at PX for $12.

A play on a classic line from Casablanca, Jon Arroyo at Founding Farmers has concocted the Play it Again, Jim using Jim Beam Rye. He mixes Jim Beam Rye whiskey, fresh squeezed lime juice, Luxardo Maraschino, Grenadine and Angostura bitters into a cocktail shaker with ice, and pours the cocktail into a champagne coupe, garnishing with fresh grilled pineapple. Patrons can taste the Play it Again, Jim at Founding Farmers for $10.

PS7’s Bittersweet Ilsa cocktail, named after one of Casablanca’s main characters, is shaken up by mixologist Gina Chersevani. She combines Absolut Vodka, Campari, raw honey, cinnamon, rose and marigold tea, and fresh grapefruit juice into a shaker with ice, shakes until frothy, and serves with an edible flower garnish. Guests can drink the Bittersweet Ilsa at PS7’s for $10.

Chantal Tseng at Tabard Inn is stirring up the aptly-named Casablanca Crusta cocktail with Plymouth Gin, Cointreau, chamomile honey syrup, fresh lemon juice and Dash Bitter Truth aromatic bitters, garnished with a sugar rim, large lemon peel and sprig of mint. Patrons can experience the Casablanca Crusta at Tabard Inn for $10.

Diners who purchase a RAMMY cocktail at any of the five restaurants until June 3 will be eligible to win two tickets to the RAMMY gala on June 6. Consumers will fill out an information card for each RAMMY drink purchase and a winner will be chosen at random on June 3 at the end of the promotion. Tickets to the RAMMYS may be purchased online HERE.
