At the event, female cancer survivors and their critters will strut their stuff on the ‘cat’walk, while attendees enjoy a luxury silent auction, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Doctors from
Critters for the Cure is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit that provides financial assistance to those fighting womens cancer, and encourages recovery through the love of critters. The Critters Patient Treatment Assistant Fund (CPTAF) allows CFTC to assist DC area women who are uninsured, underinsured, or not covered by state and federal programs receive the treatment they need to survive. CFTC differentiates itself by providing the most direct and fastest support of any womens cancer non-profit, including national organizations. Almost 90% of every dollar raised at the Gala will go directly to local women in need – whether is used to shop for groceries, fill a prescription, purchase wigs and prosthetics, or take a dog to the vet.
