Combining service with education, reflection and advocacy, this day will provide students with a well-rounded understanding of their communities and the need to engage in service.

Greater DC Cares
will engage more than 150 volunteers in revitalizing Powell Elementary School in Washington, DC and the adjacent recreation center. Volunteers will refresh the walls with new paint and college logo murals, as well as organizing the school library and cleaning the cafeteria.
