Hosting a Holiday Brunch

For the past two years I've hosted a Sunday holiday brunch for my friends at Co. Co. Sala to celebrate the holidays and gather everyone in one place together before we escape for the holidays. Co. Co. Sala is the perfect spot to gather a large group of friends and they make brunch easy with a prix fix menu at $22 (beverages are additional).

And since buying individual gifts for every single person is a bit cost prohibitive, last year I had a case of wine and dished out bottles to everyone and made personalized wine tags with a picture of myself and my friend on each bottle.

This year, my dad is shipping me bags and bags pecans from our family farm in Texas and I'm making homemade pecan sandies for everyone. Well.............that's if they get here in time. I plan to use chinese take out boxes from the store and tie bows around the handle to present to everyone at brunch.

The holidays are not only about your family, but bringing together your close friends who have supported you throughout your life. So consider taking your posse to your favorite restaurant before you all escape for the holidays! And of course, my vote would be at Co. Co. Sala.

That's envious. Would also like to prepare and plan for such kind of treat to my friends and family too.
