Last night was a outstanding night and I want to thank Social Restaurant (Scott, A.J., Joe, Michael and Gabi) for supporting the DC Arts and Humanities Education Collaborative during your grand opening charity benefit! It was a pleasure and your support ensures DC public school students have the access to the arts that they so greatly need. Guests were treated to signature items from their menu and lots of bubbly, beer and wine flowed throughout the night. The DC Collaborative has had a long ten year tenure here in the District and proceeds from tickets benefit the Collaborative to ensure that underserved DC public school students experience from the region’s rich array of arts and humanities. In the 2009 school year, more than 32,000 students and teachers will visit DC cultural institutions through their program.
