Becky's Fund, Clinton Portis and Eric Finn Custom Clothiers "Walk this Way" Next Tuesday

Though I will be at the theatre next Tuesday night I encourage you to venture to the Liaison, an Affinia Hotel, where Washington All Pro Running back Clinton Portis and Eric Finn Custom Clothiers (my vote for one of the best custom men's clothiers in the city) will host a fashion show fundraiser to benefit Becky’s Fund, a Washington, D.C. non-profit organization, which focuses on raising awareness and preventing domestic violence in our community.

“Walk This Way”
will certainly be a "Who's Who" in the DC society circuit. This signature event will be an evening to remember – bringing together the best of D.C. fashion, sports, and philanthropy. And itt will also mark the beginning of a new strategic partnership between George Washington University Hospital Women's Board and Becky's Fund to work together to spread the message of respect, hope, and empowerment.

Domestic violence currently impacts one in three women in her lifetime and can happen to anyone regardless of age, race or socioeconomic status. The mission of Becky's Fund is to prevent domestic violence by fostering awareness, encouraging advocacy among peers, promoting activism through outreach programs and creating support for victims. This signature event will not only be an evening to remember but will benefit Becky’s Fund and continue to spread the message of respect, hope and empowerment.

The evening will feature the first DC over-the-pool runway show showcasing the impeccable custom clothes of Eric Finn. Celebrated guests include Clinton Portis, Jason Campbell, Stephon Heyer of the Redskins, Bryan Namoff, Devon McTavish, and Santino Quaranta of DC United along with other former and current professional athletes. With sponsors such as Ferrari & Maserati of Washington, Alchimie Forever, Morton's, Sports Club LA, and many others, this is one event you won't want to miss!

Tickets are $125 to $300 HERE. For more information about the event and organization, visit www.beckysfund.org.
