Time to Relax - Try INARI Salon & Spa

Last night I had an amazing evening which cured my stressful day. I started off with a spa pedicure at the recently opened INARI Salon and Spa on 14th and K, then ventured to the roof of the W for drinks with a friend and concluded the night with dinner and sangria at Bar Pilar. It's amazing what a relaxing afternoon can do to a girl to refresh her spirits.

INARI launched in the District just four months ago and it already has some of the most coveted salon chairs in town.

Since I'm a mani/pedi gal I've been on the look out for a new spa to call home and INARI takes the cake (or perhaps YORK peppermint patties that they shower you with as you leave). Owned by Onie Bolinger, the INARI crew includes a hand-picked team of hair stylists who have been recognized by the likes of Washingtonian Magazine for their skills. They also utilize only the best products for clients, including Schwarzkopf Professional, Kevin Murphy shampoo, as well as Yuko, and Brazilian Blowout products.

My blissful night began with a pedicure by nail and waxing specialist Nora who worked wonders on my feet. My spa pedicure took the edge of the day and I walked out of there with perfect french tips. It's really hard to find a spa in the District that doesn't make you feel like they are rushed and Nora took her time, chatted me up a bit, but also let me doze off in my massage chair and catch some shut eye for a few minutes.

I highly recommend INARI and Nora. They have an intimate setting and with only two nail stations you get the attention your feet and hands deserve. I may have to start making INARI my standing second Tuesday of the month date. Visit them online or stop in this week to see their amazing digs and find a new spa to call home.
INARI is located at 1425 K. Street, NW.
