Got Kids? If Not, Borrow One and Head Over to Fontaine Caffe & Crêperie

The Parisian-inspired Fontaine Caffe & Crêperie is taking crepes to kids next Wednesday with a summer cooking class series. Flour, powdered sugar, chocolate… a kids cooking delight!

Chef and Owner Kyong Yi invites kids between the ages of six and ten to join her ‘in the kitchen’ learning the craft of crepe making in a series of fun, intimate classes. It’s a great way to introduce children to cooking and healthy eating. On Wednesday, August 12, children are encouraged to roll up their sleeves and learn how to create these delicate treats, all the while learning about the history and art of crêpes.

Each class will last for 60 minutes, running from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., in which students will master the traditional wooden tools to create the crêpe pancake, be able to pick the fillings for their own personal crêpe and enjoy a delicious, healthy lunch! To make every étudiant feel like a professional crepe chef, the class includes Fontaine apron and authentic red chef’s cap and certificate for each child to don not only during class, but take home for their future culinary endeavors!

This class is $35 per child and will be held Wednesday, August 12th. Fontaine Caffe & Crêperie invites your youngster (OR BORROW someone's) to experience the pleasures of French cuisine. Bon Appétit!
