LiL SoSo Productions and Smirnoff Vodka will partner for the "Be YOU" series @ Tabaq this Wednesday

Beginning on July 29th, LiL SoSo Productions (LSP) and Smirnoff Vodka will partner for the "Be YOU" series. The kick off event will be one of three editions of “Soul Overdose,” a live music event featuring soul artist and event host, N'digo Rose and DJ Jahsonic (resident at Marvin on Mondays) with special guests each edition. This month’s special guest will be powerhouse vocalist Yahzarah aka Ms. Purple St. James and will be on Wednesday, July 29^th from 8 pm-12 mid at Tabaq Bistro at 1336 U Street. The cost is $10 with a discount for those that have special limited edition “Be YOU” jump drive.

The goal of the “Be YOU” series is to celebrate and support inependent music culture.The campaign will expand on two of LSP's signature events, "Soul Overdose" an interactive live music concert featuring independent and emerging artists and "In the Artist's Studio" a candid performance and discussion event with industry tastemakers including artists and producers. The “Be YOU” series will run monthly from July-November, highlighting artists in some of DC's hottest venues.

In addition to the live music and culture, limited edition "Be YOU" jump drives are being made available to guests. While supplies last, the drives will be disseminated at various events around the city, and at the actual “Be YOU” affiliated events. These free drives will feature upcoming events and downloadable treats (music mixes, pictures, video, etc.) and contain discount information for future “Be YOU” events.
