The Park Hyatt Washington, the city’s most sophisticated pet-friendly hotel, will kick-off its first “Summer Yappy Hour”, benefiting the Washington Humane Society. Area residents and guests are invited to bring their four-legged friends to meet and mingle on the hotel’s outdoor grounds, adjacent to the lobby, while celebrating the first annual DC Week for the Animals, May 30 through June 7, 2009.
Building the awareness of all animals, the Washington Humane Society Mobile Adoption Unit will be on site for guests to meet adoptable animals from their shelters and perhaps find them a new home. Complimentary dog treats and water bowls will be provided. A portion of the evening’s proceeds will be donated to the Washington Humane Society. Two additional “Summer Yappy Hours” at Park Hyatt Washington are planned for July 1, 2009 and August 5, 2009.
6:00pm-8:00pm
