Greg's List in my Everyday Reads always has the skinny on great events.

Brace yourself for a musical experience and jump into summer (a little early) with a free, invigorating performance by France's best brass ensemble, Tarace Boulba! La Maison Française and Alliance Française de Washington are thrilled to host this lively group of performers on Friday, May 22 at 6:30 p.m. outside in the gardens of La Maison Française. Bring a blanket and be ready to dance!

Food and drink are not permitted inside the compound of the Embassy. A cash bar will be available.

Tarace Boulba is funky! Their style is influenced by afro beat, reggae, and north African music. Hear and see over 20 musicians on stage playing trombones, trumpets, saxophones, flutes, drums, congas and with a lot of positive energy! They perform regularly throughout Europe and have released two fabulous recordings. This is your chance to hear them live!

Reservations required: philippe.berthier@diplomatie.gouv.fr. Please provide your surname, first name and number of people attending.
