Vastu is pleased to welcome two regional artists to the store

Vastu is pleased to bring back Danielle Madole for yet another show. Danielle’s new work layers color, texture, and handmade stencils to showcase the icons of architecture, fashion, and design that have always inspired her. For this series, in addition to these techniques, Danielle used text and silk-screening to achieve her desired result.

Sheila Goloborotko is a master printmaker at the Pratt Institute in New York. Her work is formed by a constant tension of being a builder and a digger. The builder forges structures, shapes the trajectory of the materials while creating spaces and locations. The digger stumbles upon material remains, buildings, structures, tools, and other artifacts. Anything and everything has value. Sheila’s work is a convergence of the two.
