Couture for a Cure takes over Peacock Grand Cafe this Thursday

Thursday, May 7, from 7:30 - 10:30 PM, DC United Soccer Players hit the runway at the Couture for a Cure event to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Woman of the Year candidate Nadine Namoff at Peacock Grand Cafe. CLICK HERE FOR TICKETS

Presented by to the Nth Degree and America's Polo Cup, Couture for a Cure is a fashion show highlighting the work of local designers including Aidah Fontenot, Tsyndyma, the Lost Boys Boutique, Wendy Jarmol Jewelry, and Evelyn Brooks Jewelry all while Deejay Neekola spins beats and the Master of Ceremonies, Paul Wharton, gets the crowd going!

Couture for a Cure will honor eight individuals who are currently living with cancer, have survived cancer, or have lost a loved one to cancer. Ultimately, it will provide these amazing individuals a well-deserved day of beauty and glamour provided by James Cornwell. Couture for a Cure will also feature DC United players Bryan Namoff, Jamie Moreno, Ben Olsen, Clyde Simms, Devon McTavish, plus many more strutting their stuff down the runway in the latest designs by the Lost Boys! Tickets to this event are $55 in advance and $65 at the door.This tax deductible donation includes open bar for all sponsored drink items, heavy hors d'oeuvres, and the chance to win plenty of raffle and silent auction items. Because we want to end the evening on a high-note, your ticket will also get you admission to PUBLIC BAR for the Couture for a Cure after party.
