To satisfy the taste buds of Bastille’s Old Town Alexandria neighborhood and beyond, Chef Christophe Poteaux has developed a semi-traditional and slightly eclectic Easter menu with a little touch of Parisian charm.

Bastille will offer a three-course prix-fixe Easter Brunch on April 12th. Entrees include Bastille’s Eggs Benedict with two poached organic eggs, smoked salmon, orange hollandaise, and salmon caviar, served with sautéed potatoes and organic lettuces, a Spring Pea Risotto made with organic carnarolli rice, or the Bastille Burger & Fried Duck Egg “a cheval”, a house made angus burger flavored with roasted shallots and garlic confit, a brioche bun with Manchego cheese, and fried onions, served with pommes frites. Or enjoy fresh Sea Scallops, with pickled mango and Banyuls-Harissa vinaigrette, aside a ”Tabouleh-style” couscous salad. The Petite Filet Mignon (supplemental $5) with Béarnaise sauce, and the Roasted All-Natural Spring Chicken with garlic jus, both served with roasted fingerlings potatoes and seasonal vegetables will leave you satisfied. Bastille will offer a special children’s menu (for ages 12 and under), which includes a soup or house salad, macaroni and cheese, and a choice of dessert.

Bastille’s Easter Brunch is available on Sunday, April 12th. The three-course prix-fixe is $29.00, the four-course prix-fixe, which includes the cheese course, is $38.00, exclusive of tax and gratuity. The Children’s Menu (for ages 12 & under) is $16.00. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 703-519-3776 or visiting www.bastillerestaurant.com.

Bastille is located at 1201 N. Royal Street in Old Town Alexandria, VA. For further information or to make reservations, please call 703-519-3776 or visit www.bastillerestaurant.com.
