Founding Farmers takes GREEN to a whole new level

Once just the Greenest Restaurant in DC, now the GREENEST RESTAURANT in the entire US! That’s right – Founding Farmers is now LEED Gold, with final certification from the US Green Building Council just last week, for healthy commercial restaurant interior space that’s sustainable and earth-friendly.

This notable achievement makes Founding Farmers the first restaurant of any kind in Washington, DC to receive certification, but also it’s the FIRST upscale-casual, full-service restaurant in the US to be LEED Gold*.
