It's here. A phenom season of DC events, balls, openings and parties are on the horizon........The Young and the Guest List presented by Washington Life Magazine, Fashion For Paws, Artini presented by the 1869 Society, Fashion Takes Flight benefiting Luke's Wings, Crystal Couture, ARTrageous, the Capital Movement Project, the Corcoran Ball, National Alzheimer's Gala, Capital Design Week at the Washington Design Center, the District Sample Sale, Taste of Nation, Grapes with Apes and Shecky's Girls Night Out.
Yet the best event of all, ART BUZZ, benefiting the DC Arts and Humanities Education Collaborative which will take place the first week of April. That isn't even a drop in the bucket among the laundry list in my date book. I love February, not only because it's my birthday and I get lots of snowboarding time in, but because the city comes back to life after months of cold weather.
So DC This Week is on hold. I'm off to snowboard with the posse on Saturday then throw down on Sunday night at Napoleon for DJ Will Eastman for my grande birthday bash and Monday begins Restaurant Week.
