Neighborhood Restaurant Group (NRG) will celebrate Inauguration Week with special events at each of its FIVE restaurants

- Get into the spirit of the inauguration early with Rustico’s unique Obamarama beer celebration on Tuesday January 13, 2009. Participants of the celebration will take home specialty glassware from a selection of great American draft beers including the Kona Pipeline Porter from Hawaii and rich and complex Dogfish Head World Wide Stout. Rustico will dedicate all 30 of its draft beer taps to a stellar lineup of all-American brews for the remainder of January to commemorate this inauguration.

Tallula - Celebrate the inauguration with Tallula’s Three-Course Inauguration Menu available from Saturday, January 17 until Tuesday, January 20, 2009. Priced at $38, the three-course menu offers diners a choice of several dishes, with standouts like the Roasted persimmon salad, Lamb Stew with coffee-braised lamb, white beans and lemon gremolata, Pumpkin Ravioli with cranberries, hazelnuts, brown butter and marjoram and desserts such as Pear tart and Bread pudding. In addition to the fixed price menu, Tallula will also offer its traditional dinner menu.

To celebrate the inauguration of the 44th President, Tallula will offer a wide variety of spectacular wines for $44 a bottle and extend its hours of operation.

EatBar - will also host two special theme nights on Monday and Tuesday. Bid farewell to the Bush administration on Monday night, at the "Out with the Old" Texas BBQ party. Specials include Country fried steaks with black pepper gravy, Brisket or BBQ plate with cornbread & slaw and Texas style chili, as well as beer specials from The Lone Star state.

Tuesday night’s "In with the New" party is an ode to Chicago street food. Customers can look forward feasting on Red Apron Butcher Shop’s Chicago-style dogs and Italian beef sliders, while sipping on special Chicago-scene cocktails and beers.

Vermilion - Customers staying away from their DC offices on Monday and Tuesday can try out one of Executive Chef Tony Chittum’s "power lunch boxes." The value-friendly meals include “The Intern,” priced at $11, which includes a half Davon Crest salad, a cup of butternut squash soup and half of the roast beef sandwich; “The Junior VP,” a two-course meal, priced at $15, that includes a choice of Davon Crest greens or butternut squash soup and any sandwich; and “The CEO,” a two-course meal, priced at $19, which includes a choice of soup or salad and any main course. Diners may add any dessert or a glass of wine to any power lunch meal for an extra $5. And with the televisions tuned to the inaugural events, customers don’t have to worry about missing any of the action on Tuesday.

In addition to the power lunch box, Vermilion is also offering an Inauguration Four-Course Tasting Menu for $44. The special menu will be offered from Monday, January 12 until Saturday, January 24, 2009. Vermilion will also be serving a large number of excellent wines for $44 to commemorate the inauguration of the 44th President.

Buzz -We’ve been inspired by President-Elect Obama’s professed love of sweet potato pie. Buzz is offering a grab-and-go Sweet Buzz Boxx priced at $6.50 each, so customers can pack a snack and take Buzz to the Mall. Each Buzz Boxx includes a sweet potato goodie (cupcake, brownie or individual tart), an inaugural iced sugar cookie and some Chicago-style popcorn. Buzz will also be serving Red Apron panini, specialty sandwiches and salads.
