The Art of Change: Coming Inauguration Week.



Artomatic, Inc. and Playa del Fuego, Inc. - institutions of the mid-Atlantic arts community - have joined together to create this year's most distinctive inaugural celebration, The Art of Change (
www.artists-ball.org), on Jan. 20, 2009 at 8 pm. With the generous support of location sponsors The Warehouse Arts Complex (www.warehousetheater.com) and Douglas Development (www.douglasdevelopment.com), this event brings Washington, D.C., a unique opportunity to celebrate the inauguration of Barack Obama as President. Tickets are available immediately for $50 at www.artists-ball.org

Locations: The Art of Change will encompass three major areas: the Warehouse Theatre at 1021 7th St. NW in Washington, DC, the Douglas Development Building nearby at the corner of 7th St. and New York Ave. NW, and the parking lot between the two buildings which will contain a heated tent. The Art of Change is accessible from both the Gallery Place/Chinatown and Mt. Vernon/Convention Center stops along the DC metro green and yellow lines. To plan your trip, please click here.

Entertainment: The Art of Change will feature two dance floors, an art gallery, a variety stage, and a fire performance area.
