Share Our Strength’s Taste of the Nation® Announces a Special Holiday Ticket Pre-Sale

In the spirit of giving back, Share Our Strength’s Taste of the Nation^® is proud to announce a special holiday ticket pre-sale for its 21^st annual event. As Washington, DC’s premier culinary celebration, the 2009 affair will feature the area’s finest in the gastronomic community.

Taste of the Nation Washington, DC raises crucial funds to support Share Our Strength^®’s efforts to end childhood hunger. This year’s event will be held on Monday, March 30^th at the historic Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium from 7:00 to 10:00 PM. Guests can look forward to a showcase of DC’s 40 leading restaurants as well as 20 wineries for an evening of exquisite dining. A VIP reception beginning at 6:00 PM will offer special guests an exclusive opportunity to interact with leading chefs and mixologists. VIP guests will experience Taste of the Nation’s first interactive feature, as chef RJ Cooper will lead hands-on demonstrations and the area’s top mixologists from DC Craft Bartenders Guild will serve select cocktails in an intimate, speakeasy fashion.

Discounted tickets are available for a limited time during the month of December. From December 11^th – 31^st, General Admission tickets are $75 and VIP tickets are $120.
