With so many condos and highrises in DC, you often miss the lights that lit up everyone's house for the holidays as a kid. But the National Zoo has solved your light fixation with Zoolights.

The larger-than-life displays will highlight about 30 species of Zoo animals, including many species the Zoo is dedicated to conserving, such as giant pandas, Asian elephants, kori bustards, tigers, and golden lion tamarins.

ZooLights will take place Friday-Sunday from Nov. 28 to Dec. 14, and every night from Dec. 18 to 30 (except Dec. 24 and 25). 6:30-8:30pm. $6 per FONZ member and $12 per nonmember. 3001 Connecticut Avenue NW. For more information, call 202.633.3040.
