The Weekend Oh Weekend. Where shall I begin?

The past six months have been a whirlwind of greatness in DC. Good food, good times, good friends, good music, good art and good wine. All you need in life, besides your family.

Some of this greatness I recall, most of I do not unless there is a photo recap to follow. Nevertheless, this weekend is no different. Next week DC This Week along with Senate Realty and White Rocket Wines will launch the 4th installation of ART BUZZ and I've got a killer dress in store for you all designed by Aidah Fontenot of the Aidah Collection. So I hope to see you all at this great event that benefits the DC Arts and Humanities Education Collaborative, of which I sit on the Board. Your $10 donation supports the Collaborative's ARTS for Every Student Program and ensures DC public school students have free access to the arts in the District. Details at the icon to the right.

With dinner planned tonight at Locanda and then to Finn's for the No Greater Sacrifice fundraiser on Capitol Hill, next stop is Fight Club where art loving phenom Philippa Hughes will launch FIXATION with Ten Square Miles and the PinkLine Project. Finally we'll conclude at BLISSPOP at 9:30 CLUB with Ursula 1000, Fort Knox Five, See-I LIVE and Will Eastman (a.k.a. love of my life) on the turntables. Tickets are $15 and you can buy at the door. And if there is any energy at all left over we'll head to the private preview of MIDTOWN, the newest club to hit DuPont, tonight with my beloved Jamie Hess.

And that's just a Friday kiddies. Have a great weekend everyone and DC This Week is on HOLD! Click HERE for some music from NADASTROM to get you going right. Prost. Jade Floyd
