Mark Your Calendar Now and You Go, Girls! -- Women Chefs and Restaurateurs (WCR) will pay tribute to the Washington Area's top women of food featured in the organization's 2009 calendar and recipe collection at a fundraising event at Willow Restaurant on November 9, 2008.

The event will showcase favorite hors d'oeuvres and wines of the featured women chefs, restaurateurs, sommeliers and farm advocates. Attendees are eligible to win door prizes ranging from dining certificates at top local restaurants to bottles of wine and more. The grand-prize winner will receive 12 months of personal chef experiences, ranging from cooking lessons in their home to a private meal in a celebrated chef's home.
Copies of WCR's 2009 calendar and recipe collection will be available for $12 at the event. Visa Signature cardholders who show their Visa Signature cards at the door will receive a free calendar.
