On October 26, 2008 fifty-seven individuals from around the nation travelled to Washington, DC to run the 33rd Annual Marine Corps Marathon in support of the NGS mission: "To educate the children of those who have fallen in service to the nation."
To date, these runners (including veterans, landscape architects, attorneys, financial planners, business owners, government employees and more) have already raised more than $67,000.
You can help continue what they've begun. Come to the NGS post-marathon celebratory thank you event at Finn macCool's and support the runners and NGS.
