Need an “Afternoon Delight”? MIO has a little something for your taste buds

In the heart of the crisp fall season, what’s a better mid-day escape than a quick warm and cozy lunch? Mio has just the answer with the launch of “Afternoon Delight,” a modern lunch special for those on the go.

Located in the heart of downtown, just blocks away from historic Thomas Circle, the newest addition to Mio’s menu is perfect for a quick break from the office. Exclusively served at Mio’s bar for just $15, “Afternoon Delight” caters to those looking to keep costs down without compromising a delicious meal.

Created by Executive Chef Nicholas Stefanelli and Owner Manuel Iguina, this three-course menu offers guests Mixed Greens, Individual Pizza (changing daily) with toppings such as Slow Roasted Tomatoes, House Made Cheese Curds, Salami and Parmigiano-Reggiano and a dessert course of refreshing Sorbet. Diners must make note to reach the bar early, as the kitchen will only prepare 20 orders per day.

Mio is open for lunch Monday through Friday 11:30am – 2:30pm. Re-energize during the busy workday in Mio’s vibrant bar for a terrific meal at a fraction of the cost.
