Many thank you's to the more than 200 DCers who came out last night for ART BUZZ. It was a phenom event, we sold amazing art work and raised funds for the DC Arts and Humanities Education Collaborative's Arts for Every Student Program.
Art Buzz, started two years ago by Senate Realty, has grown to become our signature event for the Collaborative. Our wine sponsor for the night, White Rocket Wine Company, ensured that the bevvies were flowing well past 10 p.m. with our honorary bartenders for the night, Veronica Pecnik and Meredith MacKenzie keeping the crowd in line.
And the music selections, hand picked by Garcia Ade were a treat. DC This Week was honored to host and if you weren't able to stop by last night you can still donate to the Collaborative online HERE. And if you have yet to check out the new space at The Source on 14th and T, you'll have the chance again this weekend with a number of events scheduled, including ACTIVATE.
