Tonight is a busy night for DC

Tonight is a busy night for DC with the opening night of the Asian Pacific Film Festival at Landmark Theatre and screening of Amal and afterparty at Asia Nine (I'll be there with the boys), Washington Cupcake Contest with Ms. Goodyear kicking ass in the amateur category (be there for a minute too), Nation's Capital Kick-off event @ K Street Lounge, Art Whino and Groove Arts Collective launch of Block Party 2.0 (might make it there too late night), Marquis @ Napoleon, Obsidian @ Shadow Room, DJ Berrie @ Josephine's, and Seyhan @ Current. Oh and Adrian Loving @ Gazuza. Whewwww. So get to work people and I'll see y'all out tonight. Prost.

P.S. Have you bought your tickets to Thievery Corporation at ESL for Saturday night? I got mine last night and you can go to the bar at 18th Street and purchase anytime after 5:30! Word.

I leave you with a picture of Veronica, Elsie and I at Starboard in Dewey from a few weeks back. SHINY GOLD HEADBANDS from American Apparel ROCK. Ohhhhhhh goodbye Summer. I'll miss you.
