I love Tasting's Journal and I love having dinner on the outdoor patio at Marrakesh in DuPont. FIRST
Zaalok
Baked eggplant with fresh tomatoes, garlic, cilantro, and extra virgin olive oil
Bakoula
Sautéed spinach with squeeze lemon juice, garlic, and extra virgin olive oil
Khaizo
Marinated carrots in cumin, extra virgin olive oil, and fresh cilantro

SECOND
Chicken Bastilla
Filo dough stuffed with chicken, almonds and eggs, drizzled with liquid sugar
Seafood Bastilla
Filo dough stuffed with mushrooms, scallops, shrimps and vermicelli
Beef Cigars
Wrapped Filo dough over marinated ground beef in Moroccan herbs

THIRD
Spiced Tomato Soup
Tomatoe based spicy soup with chickpeas and lentils
Mixed Greens
Garden greens in house lemon olive oil

FOURTH
( Moroccan Wine : Guerrouane Rouge or Ksar Blanc )
Chicken Tagine
Lemon Chicken with olives and saffron sauce
Braised Lamb
Lamb Tagine with prunes, sesame seeds and crushed almond rub
Swordfish Filet
Baked filet of swordfish in famous house Sharmola sauce with fresh vegetables
Vegan Tagine
Slow cooked stew braised aromatic vegetables at low temperature in a no meat sauce


FIFTH
Moroccan Dessert Cookies
Selection of Authentic Moroccan Almond, seasame seads and Honey Cookies
Strawberry Mint
