Taste of MD was disorganized; people who bought tickets in advance stood in line hours just to get into a subpar event that had too few vendors and was not worth $20. There's no way I would have parted with my hard earned cash in these tough economic times if I had know what a disappointment the event would be. I feel as though I was duped by master crooks. It took less than five minutes to hit all the booths and I was done!!!. In two words...It SUCKED!!!!! I've been to my first and last Taste of MD.

I have to agree with Tony. As a staff person working the event on Sunday I heard only horror stories about Saturday. There should have been an option to print will call tickets in advance. The cost of $20.00 for admission should have allowed for at least 5 free Taste coupons as that is basic marketing/PR! The event was sponsored and run by a crew that I felt was out for money and not satisfying the customers. The event has lots of potential. I heard that on many occasions the National Harbor Representative was "laying into" the organizers of the event on Saturday for the lines, etc. There is alot to change however who knows if it will even be at the Harbor next year. I think the State of MD should have regulated the event a little better and been involved in the planning more. Just my two cents.
