With so many competing events this Thursday I had to make sure one was on your packed social calendars. Not only for the serious man candy that will take over K Street Lounge on Thursday night but also so you can support the Nations Capital Cup which is a World Cup style men’s soccer tournament that will raise money for the Latino Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization.
The tournament will bring together the great multicultural population in the DC area in celebration of cultural diversity and the world’s most popular and unifying sport, soccer.
Confirm here on facebook to receive updates on the tournament.
Sixteen teams composed of players representing their countries will play in four groups of four teams each in round-robin play for the first round. The top two teams from each group will advance to the single elimination group of eight teams.
